The name of my program will be called "A Better Game"
My goal for this final quarter is to produce a game that is basically a basic first person shooter. The game may only be a level or two, but I just wanna have the concept of it being a first person shooter.

So I'm hoping this will be both very educational and a lot of fun. What is missing from your proposal are any links to available resources. The pygame site offers a lot of resources:

How do you plan to acquire the needed skills? I know you have the book, but what other resources are available? Does pygame have an irc channel? A mailing list? How to pygame learners get help from each other?
